“My daughter just finished her summer camp this week and I wanted to thank you for the wonderful experience she had. Each day she was excited to tell me of her favourite drill that she did or a good play that she was proud of. Although her legs, shoulders, and wrists were sore from exercise, it did not affect how much she enjoyed the camp. In fact, her soreness became evidence of her hard work, which she was proud of and it would quickly disappear as she became engaged in each day's activities. She enjoyed working with the coaches and learning technique. Thank you for offering this camp for children going into grade 7. She is now more confident to try out for the junior girls' volleyball team and is even wanting to try out for club teams at Rally Pointe. She is quiet and probably did not give you more than a quick smile, but she came home each day bubbling with happiness and excited to see what the following day would bring.”

I wanted to say thanks and let you know about Chris, who was in the August Monday/Thursday camp. If you remember him he was the shortest kid with Curley (sic) blond hair. He made the senior boys team as a grade 10. Of course the new high school has no grade 12’s this year, but he knows he would not have had the skills so sharpened and the confidence to do it without the last two years at Rally Pointe.
My daughter enjoyed every minute of volleyball camp this summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She was a bit intimidated by a couple of the coaches on the first day, but by the second day she was comfortable asking questions and eager to try new skills. By the end of the week, she loved all of her coaches and was sad she wasn’t registered for a second week of camp. The “complexity” of the game was a challenge, but the coaching staff explained everything and clarified any confusion. By the end of the week she had the concepts/rotations down pat and according to one of her coaches - was “on fire”. Thank you for this amazing program!!! My daughter has volleyball try outs at her school bright and early tomorrow morning. She is trying out for the senior team this year, and is so thankful that she had the opportunity to attend your camp. Her confidence is HIGH and that is all thanks to you and your amazing coaching staff. We, as parents, appreciate the very positive approach and style of coaching displayed during the week of camp. Encouraging good sportsmanship, positive attitudes, teamwork, honing skills, teaching new strategies, working hard, building confidence and having fun – THAT is what Rally Pointe is all about. Her school team is having a mini-tournament at Rally Pointe on Friday, so if she makes the team, she will be thrilled to be back at Rally Pointe. It is an amazing venue. I do believe my girl is hooked on volleyball - largely thanks to her Rally Pointe experiences. Thank you so much for instilling the love of sports in my daughter. What a gift.
