Canada West

Club History

Canada West Volleyball Club was founded by Bruce Edwards and Tony Wells in 1997.  Having finished playing with the National Team (’92-’00) and professionally in Europe (’95-’01), Bruce took over the club fulltime and selected 11 teams in the winter of '02.  Training out of The Rally Pointe, in 2019, it will continue to be one of Canada's most accessible hard court volleyball clubs.

Club Mission

To provide Calgary and area volleyball players with the opportunity to play at a high level, to learn from expert coaches and to train in North America's top volleyball facility.

Club Coaches & Philosophy

Our second to none coaching staff features ex-national team players and former Provincial/National champions. Our coaching philosophy is to give the highest level of coaching to our players, challenging them through practices and matches, while maintaining an enjoyable atmosphere within the teams for the individual player.
