14U Boys

The team is set! Congratulations to all athletes who made it! The skill level this year impressed me a great deal, as did the maturity level. I am very excited to get the season started with this group!

To those who didn't quite make it, please know that every one of you at the tryout has the potential to be a very good volleyball player, and I highly encourage you to keep playing. I would love to come back next year and see you at Canada West tryouts again! If you're looking for a different club to try, I think the new Hitmen Volleyball Club is still looking for players for their teams (http://www.hitmenvolleyball.net). Hitt Volleyball also runs camps during the year that develop skills (http://www.hittvolleyball.com). There are no shortage of opportunities in this city to practice and play volleyball, so don't let this get you down, get out and keep playing!

An email will be sent out to parents of those on the team with more information, but for now, practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:15, and Sundays from 4:00 to 6:00. First practice is tomorrow, December 6th. See you there!

Canada West Volleyball Club is proud to announce Eric Meeuwissen as the new 14U Men’s Head Coach.

Eric is back!!!!!

Eric grew up playing volleyball in Calgary on school teams and at Canada West before leaving to play college volleyball in Cranbrook, BC. Since ending his competitive playing career, Eric wants to pass on his experience through the Canada West program that allowed him to flourish as a player. Having excelled as a defensive player throughout his career, Eric brings increased focus on defense, passing, and positioning.
